Classic is the endless block puzzle. You get three pieces at a time, place them anywhere on the 8×8 board, and every full row or column clears. The game ends only when none of your three pieces fits anywhere.
Tips to get better
Keep the middle of the board open. Most large pieces need a clear 3×3 area, and the centre is where it is easiest to keep one.
Before you place the first piece of a hand, check that the other two will still fit afterwards.
Clearing two or more lines with one piece scores more than clearing them one at a time, so it can pay to set up a double.
Do not leave single empty cells surrounded by blocks. They can only be filled by the smallest pieces, which may not come for a while.
