This Privacy Policy explains how the Zumple team ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you play Zumple (the "Game") on mobile or web. Zumple is a free block-puzzle game. By playing the Game, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
We try to collect as little personal information as possible. Specifically, we collect:
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts unless you voluntarily send them to us, for example by emailing our support address.
The Game may show ads through third-party advertising networks, including Google AdMob. These SDKs may collect the advertising identifier (such as Google's Advertising ID / Apple's IDFA), device information, and approximate location to show and measure ads.
We use analytics tools to understand how the Game is used (e.g., which levels are played, retention, feature usage). Analytics data is generally tied to the anonymous Player ID, not to your real identity.
Your basic game progress (levels, settings, unlocked items) is stored locally on your device. If you uninstall the Game or clear its data, this local save may be lost unless you have enabled cloud save.
If you opt in, we may store your progress in the cloud so you can resume play on another device. When you submit a score to a leaderboard, we may store the game seed, move list, and final score associated with your anonymous Player ID, so that results can be verified and replayed. This is optional and can be disabled in Settings.
Puzzles you draw in the Game never reach our servers. A puzzle is encoded into the link you share, inside the fragment of a web address — the part after #, which browsers do not send to any server. We receive nothing when you create, save, or share a puzzle, and we hold no copy of it. Puzzles you draw or receive are stored only in your device's local storage, and are removed when you delete them or clear the app's data.
Zumple is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email below so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
We retain the data described above only for as long as necessary to operate the Game, improve it, and comply with legal obligations. Anonymous gameplay and crash data may be retained in aggregate form for longer periods for product improvement.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we process. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our service providers (such as cloud hosting, analytics, and advertising partners) may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data associated with your anonymous Player ID, and to object to or restrict certain processing (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), or South Korea's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA)). Because we generally do not hold identifying information, please include your Player ID (found in Settings) when making a request so we can locate your data. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Effective Date" and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. Continued use of the Game after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
