Effective Date: September 17, 2026 Version: 1.1
By downloading, installing, or playing Zumple (the "Game"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Game for your personal, non-commercial entertainment, in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, distribute, or create derivative works from the Game except as permitted by applicable law.
The Game may offer virtual items, cosmetics, or similar in-game content ("Virtual Items"). Virtual Items:
The Game may offer optional rewarded video ads that grant in-game benefits when voluntarily watched to completion. The Game may also offer a "Remove Ads" purchase, which removes standard advertising from the Game for the account/device on which it was purchased, subject to the platform store's (Google Play / App Store) payment and refund policies.
To keep the Game fair for everyone, you agree not to: use cheats, bots, modified clients, exploits, or unauthorized third-party tools; manipulate scores, seeds, or move lists; or otherwise interfere with the Game's normal operation. We may remove, adjust, or exclude leaderboard scores, and may suspend or terminate accounts, found to violate this section.
The Game lets you create and share content ("User Content"): game replays, scores, screenshots, and puzzles you draw.
Puzzles are never sent to us. A puzzle you draw is encoded into the link you share, in the part of a web address (the fragment) that browsers do not transmit to servers. We do not receive it, store it, host it, or display it anywhere. It travels only to the people you send the link to. Because we do not hold it, we cannot edit or remove a puzzle once you have shared it — deciding who receives it is entirely yours.
Replays and scores you submit are different: when you share a replay link or submit a score to a leaderboard, that data is sent to and stored on our servers. For that content only, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute it within the Game's features (such as leaderboards and replay sharing).
You are responsible for all User Content you create or share. You agree not to create or share User Content that:
This applies to puzzles as much as to anything else, even though we never see them: a drawing on a grid can still carry a symbol or a message, and sharing prohibited content through the Game is a breach of these Terms regardless of whether we are technically able to detect it.
Where content is on our servers, we may remove it and may suspend access for a breach of this section. Where it is not — as with puzzles — we may still suspend access to the Game, and may withdraw or restrict content-creation features at any time.
The Game, including its code, graphics, sound, design, and trademarks (including "Zumple"), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license in Section 2, no rights are transferred to you.
The Game is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Game, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) for use of the Game in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Game at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that if you reside in a jurisdiction that grants you mandatory consumer protections under local law, those local consumer protections will continue to apply notwithstanding this clause.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Effective Date" and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. Continued use of the Game after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
